Rosemary Bacon Jam Brie

  • 1/2 pound bacon, cut into chunks

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 3 rosemary sprigs

  • 1/2 white onion, chopped

  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp yellow mustard

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • brie wheel

  • crackers or bread

Saute bacon, rosemary and onion until crispy.

Remove from pan and let drain grease.

As bacon is draining, add vinegar, syrup, sugar, and garlic to pan.

Simmer until thickened.

Add bacon mixture back into pan.

Stir to coat.

Add mustard and remove from heat.

Place brie in oven at 375 for 6-9 minutes or until soft in center.

Top with bacon jam.

Serve with cracker, bread, and fresh rosemary sprigs.
