Italian Hot Hoagies

Hoagies

  • red onion, thinly sliced

  • salami

  • pepperoni

  • deli ham

  • provolone slices

  • hoagie buns

  • tomato, thinly sliced

Salad

  • 1 stalk romaine, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/4 cup banana peppers, diced

  • 1 tbsp banan pepper juice from jar

  • 2 tsp italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • salt and pepper

  • 1 tsp spicy mustard

  • 1 tsp pomegranate vinegar, or red/white wine vinegar

Mix all salad ingredients together in small bowl.

Let marinate while you make the hoagies.

Place3 bottom hoagie buns on cookie sheet.

Hollow out top buns just a bit to fit your salad topping.

Layer bottom buns with salami, ham, pepperoni, and provolone cheese.

Drizzle with olive oil and italian seasoning.

Broil in oven until cheese is melty.

Top with tomatoes and a generous amount of salad

Top with bun.
