Hoisin Glazed Meatloaf
1 1/2 pound 80/20 beef
1 pound sausage
1 white onion, chopped
1 tbsp ginger powder
1 tbsp onion powder
3 tbsp minced garlic
1 egg
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice
green onions
sesame seeds
Sauce
1 cup hoisin
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
4 tbsp dijon mustard
4 tbsp chili paste
2 tbsp brown sugar
this recipe makes 2 meatloafs
Mix meat, onion, ginger, onion powder, Chinese 5 spice, egg, breadcrumbs, and 1/4 cup of prepared sauce in large bowl.
Grease loaf pans.
Preheat oven to 375
Divide meat mixture in half and press into pans. Pour glaze over top the meatloaf.
Bake in oven for 40-60 minutes
Remove from oven when internal temperature of meatloaf is 150.
Let sit at least 10 minutes before cutting.
Once rested, top with green onions and sesame seeds.
