Vomacka (Potato Dill Soup)

  • 5 celery stalks, diced

  • 1 white onion, diced

  • 5 carrots, peeled and diced

  • 7 small potatoes, softened and cubed

  • 1 cup flour

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 package fresh dill

  • 1 tbsp lemon pepper

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp onion powder

  • 48 oz chicken stock

  • 2 cups heavy cream or half and half

  • salt and pepper

Dice carrots, celery, and onion and saute with butter until soft.

Wash potatoes, and wrap in damp paper towels, microwave for 10 minutes, until soft

Let cool, then cube

Add flour to vegetable mixture, cook a few minutes

Add stock, spices, and potatoes

Let simmer and then add cream and the full container of dill, salt and pepper
