Fig, Sausage, and Apple Flatbread

  • 1 lb hot sausage, browned

  • fig jam, small jar

  • naan or flatbread

  • pink lady apples, thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds

  • mozzarella pearls

  • arugula

  • 1/4 cup balsamic

  • 1/4 cup honey

Brown sausage and set aside.

Pour honey and balsamic in small saucepan.

Cook on medium until light boil.

Cool.

Spread fig jam on flatbread generously.

Top with sausage.

Sprinkle with fennel seeds.

Add mozzarella pearls.

Scatter thinly sliced apples.

Bake at 375 until cheese is melty and crust is crunchy.

Once out of oven, drizzle with honey balsamic and arugula.
