Coconut Curry Burgers

Burgers

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp yellow curry powder

  • 2 tbsp worchestershire sauce

  • 1/8 cup cilantro, chopped

  • pinch of red pepper flakes

  • 1/4 cup coconut milk

  • buns

Slaw

  • 1 pkg red cabbage, shredded

  • 1/4 cup green onions

  • 1/8 cup cilantro, chopped

  • juice of one lime

  • 1/4 cup coconut milk

  • 1/2 of a red and orange pepper, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup sour cream or greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp yellow curry powder

Start by making the slaw. Add coconut milk, sour cream, lime juice, and curry powder in small bowl, stir until smooth.

Add slaw, green onions, cilantro, and peppers. Pour dressing over slaw and stir. Put in fridge until ready to serve.

Mix all burger ingredients in large bowl and press into patties.

Grill 3 minutes per side. Place on bun and top with curry slaw.
