Salted Amaretto Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 sticks butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp amaretto
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp almond extract
chopped almonds
1 cup chocolate chips
coarse sea salt
Preheat oven to 375
Cream butter and sugars.
Add extracts and amaretto.
Add eggs, beating well after each addition.
Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl, flour, 1 tsp salt, and baking soda.
Add dry ingredients.
Do not over mix. Hand stir in almonds and chocolate chips.
Use cookie scoop for even cookies.
Bake for 9-10 minutes.
Sprinkle with sea salt while still warm.
Let cool a few minutes on pan and transfer to wire rack.
