IMG_1216.jpeg

•3 lb beef roast

•2 small or 1 big yellow onion

•1-2 cup red wine

•2-3 cup beef broth

•4 tbsp steak seasoning

•1 heaping tablespoon minced garlic

•1 tablespoon fresh or dried rosemary

•1 tablespoon onion powder

•1 tablespoon dried thyme

•salt and pepper

•torpedo/sub buns

•sliced provolone cheese

Mix all seasoning in small bowl, rub seasoning mixture over meat.

Sear all sides on high. (This works really great if you have an Instant Pot. 😉)

Cover bottom of instant pot or slow cooker with half of the onions. Place meat on top of onions.

Pour red wine and broth over top. Top with remaining onions.

Cook on low in Crock Pot for 8-10 hours, or on meat setting for 3 hours in an Instant Pot.

Shred beef once cooked.

Toast buns. Add pulled beef on bottom bun. Top with cheese slices.

Broil until cheese is melted.

Pour a few spoonfuls of broth over the cheese. Top with other bun.

Pour Au jus into small dish for dipping.

Enjoy!
