  • 3 Bone in pork chops (I went to a meat market)

  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

  • 1/4 cup canola oil

  • 3 apples, any kind just not Granny Smith, sliced thinly

  • 1 small white onion, thinly sliced

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 sprig rosemary, chopped

  • 1/4 cup white wine, I used Sauvignon Blanc (be sure to drink the rest!)

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1/2 cup apple sauce

  • 1 heaping tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp flour plus 1/4 cup water, mix, this is called a slurry

  • 1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Marinate the pork chops with fresh garlic slices, salt and pepper, and canola oil. Marinate overnight or at least 4 hours.

Heat grill to high, sear each side for 4-6 minutes, then turn the grill to low and cook until internal temperature is 150 degrees.

In the meantime, heat butter in skillet and add onion and apples. Cook until tender. Remove from skillet.

Add salt and pepper, rosemary, garlic, apple juice, and red wine. Cook to a light simmer.

Add slurry, cook until starts to thicken. Add parmesan cheese. Add apples back into sauce. Season with more salt and pepper, and rosemary to taste.

Pour over grilled pork chop. enjoy!
