Coffee Crusted BBQ Burger
Patties
1 pound 80/20 ground beef
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Triple Crown Black Garlic BBQ sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp steak seasoning
salt and pepper
Crusted spices
1 tsp ground coffee
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp steak seasoning
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
Toppings
Shredded Gouda or Swiss cheese
white onion, thinly sliced
fresh pineapple slices
buns
Triple Crown Black Garlic BBQ sauce
Combine all patty ingredients in small bowl. Mix well.
Divide meat into 4 equal sized patties.
Mix crusting seasoning and pour onto a plate. Press patties into the seasonings, covering all sides.
Melt 1 tbsp butter in cast iron skillet.
Cook patties on high for 3-5 minutes per side.
Cover and turn heat to low.
Cook to your desired doneness.
Add shredded cheese, cover and let melt.
Toast buns.
Place burger on bun and smother with bbq sauce.
Top with onion and pineapple.
