Cheeseburger Macaroni (kids favorite)

  • 1 lb. lean beef

  • 1 small white or yellow onion, diced

  • 2 (8 oz) can tomato sauce

  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp steak sauce

  • pinch of red pepper flakes

  • 1 tbsp ketchup

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 3 cups (dried) shell noodles +1/3 cup pasta water

Cook noodles according to package directions. Add beef to skillet and cook until no longer pink.

Add onion and cook until soft. Turn heat to medium low, and add remaining ingredients. Simmer.

Strain noodles leaving 1/3 cup pasta water to meat mixture. Add noodles to meat mixture and stir.

Sprinkle with dried parsley. Serve with a side of dill pickles (optional).
