Strawberry Pesto Burger

  • 1 pound 80/20 ground beef

  • 3 tbsp +( enough for bun spreading) North Eats Spinach Basil Pesto or store bought

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam, melted

  • 1 tbsp steak seasoning

  • salt and pepper

  • buns

  • mixed greens

  • fresh mozzarella ball. sliced

Strawberry Topping

  • 1 cup strawberries, chunked

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1 tbsp diced red onion

  • 5 basil leaves, torn

Mix beef, 3 tbsp pesto, 1 tbsp steak seasoning, balsamic vinegar, and salt and pepper.

Form into patties.

Grill patties to desired wellness. Add cheese and let melt. Set aside.

Toast buns. Set aside

While burgers are cooking, make the strawberry topping.

Mix strawberries, balsamic vinegar, garlic, and red onion.

Assemble burgers, top with mixed greens, and strawberry topping.

Spread jam and pesto on buns,
