Plum Prosciutto Pizza

  • Frozen pizza dough or homemade

  • 3/4 cup Red plum jam, divided

  • prosciutto, about 5-6 slices

  • blue cheese crumbles

  • fresh mozzarella

  • arugula

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

  • black pepper

Make pizza crust and spread out on pizza pan.

I usually precook the dough for 7-10 minutes before adding toppings. I like aa really crispy crust.

Spread 1/2 cup red plum jam to the edges of crust.

Top with shredded mozzarella.

Add prosciutto in rosette mounds around pizza.

Sprinkle blue cheese crumbles.

Add small chunks of fresh mozzarella around pizza.

Add lots of black pepper to the top.

Bake at 400 for 10-15 minutes or until prosciutto and crust are crispy.

While pizza is baking, heat balsamic and honey in saucepan and bring to a boil.

Let cool off the heat.

Melt remaining red plum jam in microwave until runny.

Once pizza is done, drizzle with balsamic glaze and melted jam.

Sprinkle with arugula.
