• 1 pound hot pork sausage

• 2 pounds ground beef

• 1 baguette, sliced

• 1 cup Italian bread crumbs

• 1 egg, beaten

• 2 tbsp dried basil

• 2 tbsp minced garlic

• 1 tbsp sage

• 2 tbsp Italian seasoning

• salt and pepper to taste

• provolone slices or fresh mozzarella

• 3/4 jar of marinara sauce

Mix everything (besides baguette, marinara, and provolone) in mixing bowl. Mix until just combined. Do not over mix.

Make into golf ball size balls. Place on parchment lined cookie sheet.

Once all meat is rolled, place meatballs in freezer.

Freeze 1 hour, or overnight ( cover if leaving them in freezer overnight).

Place meat balls in crock pot.

Pour marinara over the top of meatballs. Cook on low for 6-8 hours and high for 4-6 hours.

Once done, toast baguette in oven on broil.

Take the top baguette out when lightly toasted. Keep the bottom one in the oven until almost burned.

Take out and top with meatballs, sauce, and cheese.

Place back in oven on broil until cheese is melted.

Serve and enjoy!
