Chili Tot Skillet

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1 pound lean ground beef

  • 1 can chili beans

  • 1 can kidney beans, drained

  • 1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes

  • 1 8oz can tomato sauce

  • 1 full handful shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 bag frozen tater tots

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 3 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 jalapeno, sliced

  • cilantro

  • white onion, diced

  • sour cream

Preheat oven to 425. Melt butter in cast iron skillet.

Brown beef and add seasonings.

Add beans, tomatoes, and tomato sauce.

Add cheese. Stir well until fully melted.

Place tater tots on top.

Bake in oven for 20 minutes, or until tots are browned.

Top with chili jalapenos, sour cream, and diced onion.
